BIO

Lenora Spence serves as the Outreach Coordinator for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. She has more than 15 years of community outreach experience. She received her bachelors of science degree in public relations from Florida A&M University, has served as a board member for the Florida Public Relations Association, and is a graduate of Leadership Orlando.  Lenora and her husband reside in Orlando with their four children.

 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Division of Consumer Services is the state’s clearinghouse for consumer complaints, information and protection. We regulate various businesses, and protect consumers and businesses from unfair and unsafe business practices across a wide range of market sectors, including gasoline, brake fluid, antifreeze, liquefied petroleum gas, amusement rides, and weighing and measuring devices.
